Bellator MMA will be returning to the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California for Bellator 99 and tickets are currently on sale.
Bellator officials announced the fight card today and this will be their second fight card of 2013 that will take place from Pechanga.
Bellator 99 will be the second fight card of the upcoming ninth season of the promotion with the season nine debut set for September 7th in Connecticut.
“We had an absolutely packed house in March when we brought Bellator MMA live on Spike to Pechanga,” said Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney said. “We wanted to get back to California’s greatest casino/resort as soon as possible. Pechanga offers our fans the chance to see the some of the greatest MMA talent in the world and be on hand to witness The Toughest Tournament in Sports. September 13th is going to be fireworks.”
The fight card on September 13th from Pechanga will mark the promotions return to Friday night cards and this card will feature the opening round of the next featherweight tournament. At this time, Bellator has not announced any of the fighters that will be in the next tournament or whether it will be a four man or eight man tournament.
