Godofredo Pepey injured, Felipe Arantes vs. Sam Sicilia set for UFC Fight Night in Brazil

A knee injury has forced Godofredo Pepey to pull out of his September 4th bout against Sam Sicilia and replacing Pepey in the bout will be Felipe Arantes. Fox Sports 1

UFC officials confirmed the fight change on Thursday and the fight card is official with ten bouts.

UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. Bader will come from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil on September 4th and will be headlined by a five round light heavyweight bout as Glover Teixeira facing Ryan Bader.

Arantes (15-4-1, 2NC) has gone 2-1-1 in his four fights in the UFC and is coming off a TKO win over Godofredo Castro at UFC on FUEL TV 10. He won the fight by TKO and it was his seventh career win by TKO/KO.

Sicilia (11-3) was on The Ultimate Fighter 15 and won his official debut at the live final against Cristiano Marcello. Since that fight, he has dropped back to back fights with the defeats coming against Jason and Maximo Blanco.
