Nick Ring has pulled out of his fight at UFC on FS1 #1 on August 17th against Uriah Hall and replacing Ring will be Josh Samman.
UFC officials annoucned the change on Monday and the fight is expected to remain in the main card of UFC on FS1 #1.
UFC on FS1 #1 takes place from the TD Garden in Boston and will be headlined by former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua facing Chael Sonnen in a five round light heavyweight bout.
Samman (10-2) was a participant of The Ultimate Fighter 17 with Hall (7-3) and was a member of Team Jones. He made it to the semifinals of the reality show before being defeated by eventual TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum. His official UFC debut came at the live finale and he defeated Kevin Casey.
