A staph infection has forced Robert Drysdale to pull out of his UFC 163 bout against Ednaldo Oliveria and replacing Drysdale in the bout will be UFC newcomer Francimar Barroso.
The new fight was originally reported by Tatame and the new fight is now listed on the UFC website.
UFC 163 takes place on August 3rd from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will be headlined by Jose Aldo defending the UFC featherweight title against Chan Sung Jung.
Barroso (15-3) is currently on a three fight winning streak and has won twelve of his last thirteen fights. During his recent winning streak, all of the wins have come by stoppage and most recently defeated Simao Melo da Silva by second round submission in April.
Oliveira (13-1-1, 1NC) entered the UFC at the beginning of 2012 as a heavyweight and lost his debut to Gabriel Gonzaga by submission in the first round. Following the defeat, it was announced that he would be moving down to the light heavyweight division.
