Bellator 97 and Fight Master DVR Ratings Review

This past week Spike TV offered up Bellator 97 and the sixth episode of Fight Master to slightly improved ratings thanks to the DVR numbers.

FIGHTMASTER_LogoAccording to Nielsen sources, Bellator 97 preliminary viewership was at 679,000 total viewers and Fight Master drew 629,000 viewers.

The DVR rating number for both shows were released on Monday with Bellator 97 getting 707,000 total viewers and Fight Master getting 745,000 total viewers. While the live fight card only saw a 4 percent rise in the ratings, the ratings on Fight Master saw an increase of 18 percent.

As a reminder, this adjustments was due to the live + 3 (DVR) numbers which will be released every Monday. For those new to Nielsen ratings terminology, live + 3 is a equal to a total of live viewership plus 3 days worth of DVR usage.

Bellator 97 featured two title fights while last night’s episode of Fight Master featured two more fights including Joe Riggs of Jackson’s MMA.
