A medical issue has forced Brian Houston out of his scheduled UFC 164 preliminary card bout against Yoel Romero and the fight card will now have 12 bouts on the card.
UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday night after UFC Tonight aired on FUEL TV.
UFC 164 takes place on August 31st from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and will be headlined by Benson Henderson defending the UFC lightweight title against Anthony Pettis.
Houston (4-0) was a late injury replacement to face Romero and this would have been his UFC debut. The bout between Houston and Romero was scheduled to take place on the preliminary card on Facebook and that portion of the card will have three fights instead of four.
