Jessica Eye will make her UFC debut against Sarah Kaufman at UFC 166

It was announced earlier this week that former Bellator fighter Jessica Eye had been signed by the UFC and she will make her debut with the organization at UFC 166 against Sarah Kaufman.UFC 166 Poster

UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday evening and also announced the bout between Francisco Rivera and George Roop initially announced for this card has been moved to UFC Fight for the Troops 3 on November 6th.

UFC 166 takes place on October 19th from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title in his trilogy bout with former champion Junior dos Santos.

Eye (10-1) has won seven straight and is considered one of the top women’s flyweight fighters in the world. Her last fight took place in June where she defeated Carina Damm by unanimous decision at NAAFS: Fight Night in the Flats 9.

Kaufman (16-2) had been scheduled to make her UFC debut next week at UFC Fight Night 27 against Sara McMann, but the bout was scratched when McMann had to pull out of the fight. Her last fight took place in Invicta, which she defeated Leslie Smith and won the fight of the night bonus.
