A pair of middleweight bouts has been added to UFC Fight for the Troops 3 on November 6th in Kentucky as Yoel Romero meets Ronny Markes and Chris Camozzi faces Lorenz Larkin.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on late Thursday evening.
UFC Fight for the Troops 3 will take place on November 6th from Fort Campbell, Kentucky and will be headlined by Lyoto Machida making his UFC middleweight debut against Tim Kennedy.
Romero (5-1) won his UFC debut earlier this year at UFC on FOX 7 when he defeated Clifford Starks by knockout in the first round. The bout was his middleweight debut and he won the knockout of the night bonus. Markes (14-1) has won his last eight fights with three of those coming in the UFC. He is coming off a decision win against Andrew Craig at UFC on FX 8 and all of his UFC fights have gone to the decision.
Camozzi (19-6) initially entered the UFC in 2010 and has won six of his nine fights in the organization. He recently had his four fight winning streaked snapped at UFC on FX 8 when he was defeated by Jacare Souza by technical submission. Larkin (13-1) is a former Strikeforce fighter and was defeated in his UFC debut against Francis Carmont by unanimous decision. The defeat was controversial as a majority of people felt that Larkin should have won the decision.
