The only women’s bout on the UFC 163 card took place on the preliminary card as Amanda Nunes won her UFC debut over Sheila Gaff in the first round by TKO.
They opened with a high space as Gaff used her striking to take the fight to the ground but Nunes was able to scramble back to her feet. Nunes would take the fight to the ground and she had the half guard position.
She would pass to the full mount position and landed several short strikes. She would continue her attack with short elbows and the referee would end up coming in to stop the fight when Gaff was not defending herself.
