In the main event of UFC 164 on Saturday night, Benson Henderson will make his fourth lightweight title defense as he faces Anthony Pettis in a rematch of their 2010 bout in the WEC.
Pettis won the first fight by unanimous decision and landed what is now known as the “Showtime Kick” in the fifth round.
Since their first fight, Henderson has gone undefeated and holds notable wins over Jim Miller, Frankie Edgar, Nate Diaz and Gilbert Melendez. On the other side, Pettis has gone 3-1 since their first meeting and is currently on a three fight winning streak.
The UFC has released pre-fight interviews with both fighters as Henderson discussed his excitement for this rematch and Pettis said that he plans to show to the world that he is the best lightweight fighter.
