A flyweight bout has been added to UFC 166 on October 19th in Houston as John Dodson will meet UFC newcomer Darrell Montague.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Saturday afternoon and it was not announced if the fight will be on the main or preliminary card.
UFC 166 takes place on October 19th from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending the UFC heavyweight title in his trilogy bout with former champion Junior dos Santos.
Dodson (14-6) won The Ultimate Fighter 14 as a bantamweight and immediately dropped down to flyweight. He most recent fight took place at the beginning of the year which was a decision lost to flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.
Montague (13-2) is currently on a four fight winning streak and will be making his UFC debut against Dodson. During his recent winning streak, three of the victories have come by stoppage and two of the wins came in the first round.
