A featherweight bout has been added to the World Series of Fighting 5 fight card on September 14th as Waylon Lowe will meet Georgi Karakhanyan.
WSOF officials recently announced the fight booking and the fight will be on the main card broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.
WSOF 5 takes place on September 14th from Revel in Atlantic City and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski meets Mike Kyle.
Lowe (14-4) has won four fights in a row since exiting the UFC in 2011. During his recent winning streak, all four of the wins have come by TKO/KO and most recently defeated Cameron Dollar at WSOF 2 in the first round by TKO.
Karakhanyan (21-3-1) is a former Bellator fighter and will be making his WSOF debut in this fight. Since exiting Bellator, he has won seven fights in a row including a decision victory over former UFC fighter Din Thomas at Legacy Fight Championship 19.
