Alan Patrick vs. Garett Whiteley official for UFC Fight Night 29

A lightweight bout has been made official for UFC Fight Night 29 in Brazil as Alan Patrick will meet Garett Whiteley. UFC Fight Night 29 Brazil Poster

UFC officials made the fight official on Monday and it will be one of the bouts on the preliminary card that will be streamed online.

UFC Fight Night 29 will take place from the Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be headlined by a welterweight bout as Demian Maia meets Jake Shields.

Patrick (10-0) will be making his debut in the UFC in this bout and his last two wins have come by unanimous decision. During his career, he has five wins by stoppage with three of those wins coming by TKO/KO.

Whiteley (5-0) will also be making his UFC debut in this bout and all of his wins have come by stoppage. He opened his career with four straight victories in the first round before getting a third round submission win in his last fight.
