The debut of the ninth season of Bellator MMA took place on September 7th in Connecticut and all of the drug tests came back negative.
Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations Director Michael Mazzulli released the information to TheMMAReport.com on Thursday.
Mazzulli stated that all of the fighters on the card were tested, which the card featured a title fight and the opening round of the season nine middleweight tournament.
In the main event, Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko made his first title defense and defeated Brett Cooper by unanimous decision. In the middleweight tournament bouts, Mikkel Parlo, Jason Butcher, Brennan Ward and Perry Filkins advance to the semifinals which is scheduled to take place next month.
