A lightweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 9 as Joe Lauzon will meet Ultimate Fighter 6 winner Mac Danzig. 
UFC officials announced the fight booking on late Tuesday evening and the bout will be apart of the preliminary card.
UFC on FOX 9 will come from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California on December 14th and will be headlined by Anthony Pettis defending the UFC lightweight title against Josh Thomson.
Lauzon (22-9) has lost back to back fights and three of his last four. In his last appearance in the octagon, he was defeated by Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 26 in Boston by unanimous decision.
Danzig (21-11-1) has also lost back to back fights and is 2-3 in in his five fights. He has won a fight night bonus in three of those fights and was most recently defeated by Melvin Guillard at UFC on FOX 8 by knockout.
