Kid Yamamoto is out of his UFC 165 due to unknown reasons and replacing him against Ivan Menjivar will be Wilson Reis.
UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday and the new bout will take place on the preliminary card on Fox Sports 1.
UFC 165 takes place on September 21st from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson.
Reis (16-4) will be making his debut in this fight and is a veteran of Elite XC, Bellator and Cage Warriors. Since his exit from Bellator, he has won four in a row and three of those wins have come by submission.
Menjivar (25-10) originally made his debut in the UFC in 2004 and was defeated by Matt Serra. He returned to the promotion in 2011 after the merger with the WEC and has won four of his last six. He is coming off a submission defeat against top UFC contender Urijah Faber and his last two wins in the UFC have come by submission.
