In an on-air segment during last nights TNA Impact Wrestling No Surrender edition on SpikeTV, TNA President Dixie Carter announced that Bellator’s legal team wanted Ortiz and Rampage off TNA television to have them saved for the PPV.
Hulk Hogan, who Dixie was talking too during this segment, followed the request up by saying how he wants to feed Ortiz to Rampage once the Bellator PPV is over.
The key to Bellator’s legal teams argument was they believed Ortiz and Rampage were playing too physical of a role and wanted to protect them.
Now, some in the wrestling industry have been speculating this removal was because of some heat TNA has received due to the influx of Bellator talent on Impact, but one must remember, this is wrestling and elaborate story-lines should be expected.
