A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 167 in November as Rick Story will meet Brian Ebersole.
UFC officials announced the fight booking overnight and the bout will take place on the preliminary card.
UFC 167 takes place on November 16th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Georges St-Pierre defending the UFC welterweight title against Johny Hendricks.
Story (15-7) made his debut with the UFC in 2009 and won six straight after losing his debut in the organization at UFC 99 against John Hathaway. Since winning six straight, he has lost four of his last six including a split decision lost to Mike Pyle at UFC 160 in his last bout.
Ebersole (50-15-1) opened his UFC career with four straight victories that include a Fight of the Night bonus in his victory over Chris Lytle at UFC 127. His last fight took place last year at UFC 149 and he lost a split decision to James Head.
