The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale adds Akira Corassani vs. Maximo Blanco

A featherweight bout has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale in Las Vegas as Akira Corassani meets Maximo Blanco.

UFC officials announced the fight booking over the weekend and the bout will take place on the preliminary card.

Corassani (11-3, 1NC) entered the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter 14 and has won his first two fights in the UFC. His most recent victory took place in April at UFC on FUEL TV 9 as he defeated Robbie Peralta by unanimous decision.

Blanco (9-4, 1NC) made his UFC debut in 2012 and lost his debut to Marcus Brimage by split decision at UFC 145. He scored his first UFC victory earlier this year at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale as he defeated Sam Sicilia by unanimous decision.

The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale will take place on November 30th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson defending the UFC flyweight title against Joseph Benavidez.
