A lightweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3 as Bobby Green will meet James Krause.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday and the bout will likely take place on the main card broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3 will take place on November 6th from Fort Campbell, Kentucky and will be headlined by Lyoto Machida making his UFC middleweight debut against Tim Kennedy.
Green (20-5) is currently on a five fight winning streak and won his UFC debut earlier this year by submission against Jacob Volkmann at UFC 156. During his recent winning streak, three of the wins have come by submission with two of those being by rear-naked choke.
Krause (20-4) is a former WEC and Bellator fighter and made his UFC debut earlier this year. His debut came at UFC 161 against Sam Stout and he won the fight in the third round by submission and was awarded the Fight of the Night and Submission of the Night bonus.
