The Bellator 102 Weigh-Ins took place on Thursday afternoon in Visalia, California and the fight card is now official eleven fights.
Today’s weigh-ins took place at the Visalia Convention Center and the same venue will host tomorrow night’s fight card.
Tomorrow’s main card on Spike TV will feature five tournament bouts in the heavyweight, middleweight and bantamweight tournaments.
In the middleweight tournament semifinals, Joe Pacheco (186 lbs) meets Brennan Ward (185.2 lbs) and Mikkel Parlo (185 lbs) faces Jason Butcher (185.6 lbs). The winners of the bouts will advance to the tournament final and that bout will take place later this season.
The next title contender for bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas will be determined as Rafael Silva (136 lbs) meets Anthony Leone (135.7 lbs) in the Summer Series bantamweight tournament and the winner will likely face Dantas before the end of this season.
Finally, the next Bellator heavyweight tournament will kick off as three of the four fighters in the tournament will be making thier Bellator debut. In the first semifinal bout, Lavar Johnson (253.3 lbs) will face Vinicius Spartan (236.2 lbs) and Check Kongo (235.9 lbs) meets Mark Godbeer (239.6 lbs) in the main event of the fight card.
