In the only heavyweight bout on the main card, Mighty Mo scored his first career win by submission as he defeated Ron Sparks by key lock in the first round. 
As the fight started, Sparks surprised most of the people in attendance in New Mexico as he took the fight to the ground. However, Mo was able to get top position on the ground and Mo worked his ground offense.
Sparks attempted to get back to his feet, but Mo was able to keep the action on the ground. After landing short strikes, Mo went for a key lock submission and Sparks would tap out.
Mo (5-2) has won back to back fight since making his Bellator debut earlier this year, and this is his third career win coming in the first round.
