Former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres will be moving up to the featherweight division at World Series of Fighting 6 and will meet Pablo Alfonso.
World Series of Fighting officials made the fight booking official on Saturday and the bout will be apart of the preliminary card.
World Series of Fighting 6 will take place on October 26th from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida and will be headline by Josh Burkman meeting Steve Carl for the inaugural WSOF welterweight title.
Torres (40-6) has lost back to back fights including his WSOF debut last year against Marlon Moraes. After starting his career 37-1, he is 3-5 in his last eight fights and his last win took place in 2011.
Alfonso (8-5) will be making his WSOF debut against Torres and he has won back to back fights. His last two victories came in the Florida based promotion CFA and both of the wins came in the first round.
