UPDATED 10/31 – The Ultimate Fighter 18: Rousey vs Tate Episode 9 took place last night on Fox Sports 1, and featured Sarah Moras defeating Peggy Morgan via submission.
According to Nielsen sources, last night’s episode nine of The Ultimate Fighter landed at 452,000 total viewers, down 5 percent from last week’s highlight episode that only reached 476,000k total viewers.
Again, regardless of the rating, last night was a bad night for everyone as national Fox had the Red Sox defeating the Cardinals in an epic game six showdown.
Game six, which went head-to-head with TUF, won the night an landed at a 17.996 million viewers (5.4/15 rating). Game six becomes the highest-rated MLB game since 2011’s Game 7. Again, clearly a bad night for everyone else on television.
When it came to the rest of the nights heat-to-head competition on the national side, the UFC lost out to CSI on CBS with 9.59 million viewers (1.8/5 rating) and Nashville on ABC with 5.23 million viewers (1.4/4 rating).
On the cable side of things both American Horror Story on FX (3.7 million viewers 2.0 rating) and Southpark on Comedy Central (1.89 million viewers 1.0 rating) owned the 10PM timeslot.
