UFC Fight Night 29 and the sixth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 18: Rousey vs Tate Episode 6 took place last night on Fox Sports 1 and TUF.
According to Nielsen sources, the preliminary overnight rating for UFC Fight Night 29 preliminary card landed at 220,000 and the main card drew 638,000 total viewers.
The UFC Fight Night 29 main card viewership was up 18 percent from the UFC Fight Night 28 card, which was also a card that took place in Brazil. While the main card viewership was up, the preliminary card viewership was down 20 percent.
UFC Fight Night 26 still rules the world with a huge 1.78 million viewers and 1.38 in the 18-49 adult demographic rating.
According to the same Nielsen sources, last night’s episode six of The Ultimate Fighter landed at 725,000 total viewers which is up 13 percent from the last weeks episode which landed at 640k total viewers.
Overall, last night was not the easiest of nights as it was another mid-week card and everything went against a pivotal NLDS game 5 on TBS, which drew solid numbers once again.
When it came to the normal fall Wednesday lineup including Modern Family (10.42m 11 share), Criminal Minds (10.90m 7 share) and the return of CW’s Arrow (2.68 3 share), they all drew down compared to previous weeks (Arrow premier down compared to last year (1.3 vs. .9 ratings).
