An injury forced Mike Wilkinson to pull out of his fight against Jimy Hettes at UFC Fight Night 30 on Saturday, and replacing Wilkinson will be UFC newcomer Robert Whiteford.
UFC officials announced the change in opponent on Sunday afternoon, and the new fight will be apart of the preliminary card.
UFC Fight Night 30 on Saturday from the Manchester Arena and card will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Mark Munoz meets Lyoto Machida.
Whiteford (10-1) has won ten straight after losing his professional debut in 2009. During his winning streak, six of the wins have come by stoppage with five of those being by TKO/KO.
Hettes (10-1) entered the UFC in 2011 and has won two of his three fights in the promotion. After starting his career with ten straight wins, he suffered his first defeat at UFC 152 against Marcus Brimage by unanimous decision.
