The World Series of Fighting has acquired Canada’s Aggression Fighting Championship and they will hold an event in Vancouver on December 7th.
World Series of Fighting 7 will come from the PNE Agrodome on December 7th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Anthony Johnson meets Mike Kyle.
Johnson and Kyle were initially booked to face each other last month at WSOF 5 but an injury forces Johnson to pull out of the fight. Kyle ended up facing former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and was defeated by unanimous decision.
Also on the card will be a middleweight tournament semifinal bout as Elvis Mutapcic faces Jesse Money and the winner will advance to the final to meet David Branch at a later date.
“The launch of World Series of Fighting Canada is an incredibly exciting announcement for our promotion,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said. “From the beginning, we have maintained our desire to bring our elite-level mixed martial arts action to Canada and the great MMA fans that live there, as well as markets around the globe. We embrace this new division of our company that will allow us to make great strides into Canada, which has long proven to have one of the most passionate and knowledgeable MMA fan bases in the world.”
The World Series of Fighting will be announcing more fights for the fight card in the coming weeks as well as on sale ticket information.
