Andreas Stahl out, Ben Wall steps up on short notice to meet Alex Garcia at UFC Fight Night 33

An undisclosed injury has forced Andreas Stahl to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 33 bout against Alex Garcia and replacing him in the bout will be The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes alum Ben Wall.UFC Fight Night 33

UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday and the bout will remain on the preliminary card.

UFC Fight Night 33 will take place from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in on December 7th in Australia and will be headlined by Mark Hunt meeting Antonio Silva in a heavyweight bout.

The event will air live in the United States on December 6th, due to the time difference between United States and Australia.

Wall (7-0, 1NC) was a member of Team Australia during the season of TUF: The Smashes, but did not receive an official fight with the organization following the reality show. He is coming off a win in March against Jai Bradney and his last five wins have come by decision.

Garcia (10-1) is currently on a four fight winning streak as two of his last three victories have come by rear-naked choke submission in the first round. He trains out of Tristar Gym in Montreal and his only professional defeat came against current UFC fighter Seth Baczynski.
