In honor of the UFC’s 20th anniversary this week, AXS TV Fights Pat Miletich, Kenny Rice and Bas Rutten had a press event to discuss the anniversary and the overall success of the sport.
The panel also discussed how the UFC has moved from away from the “no holds barred” beginning, to how they first got involved professionally with the UFC.
Included in the event, Rutten shared how he joined the UFC in order to promote his acting career, all while becoming the first heavyweight champ in the process. Also, Miletich talked at length about the challenges of UFC tournament fighting and he tells the story behind how he came to win his first lightweight title.
