The UFC Fight Night 35 card on January 15th has added two more bouts as Derek Brunson will meet Yoel Romero and Ultimate Fighter alum Vinc Pichel will square off against Garrett Whiteley.
Both fights were announced by the UFC on early Tuesday afternoon and the bout between Brunson and Yomero will likely be placed on the main card broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
UFC Fight Night 35 will take place from the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia on January 15th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Luke Rockhold meets Costa Philippou.
Brunson (11-2) has won back to back fights since entering the UFC late last year and is coming off a 48 second victory over Brian Houston at UFC Fight Night 31 earlier this month. Yomero (6-1) has also won back to back fights, with both of those victories coming by knockout.
Pichel (7-1) lost his UFC debut last year against Rustam Khabilov and will be stepping into the cage for the first time since that defeat. Whiteley (7-1) was defeated in his UFC debut in the first round at UFC Fight Night 29, and seven of his eight fights have ended in the first round.
