Jake Ellenberger out of UFC Fight Night 34; Tarec Saffiedine now meets Hyun Gyu Lim

An injury has forced Jake Ellenberger out of his main event bout at UFC Fight Night 34 in Singapore against Tarec Saffiedine and replacing Ellenberger in the bout will be Hyun Gyu Lim.UFC Fight Night 34

UFC officials announced the change on late Friday morning, after various MMA media outlets reported the change on Thursday.

UFC Fight Night 34 will take place on January 4th from the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore and will be shown live on Fox Sports 1.

Lim (12-3-1) was already scheduled to be on this card as he was initially booked to meet Kiichi Kunimoto, who will now meet Luiz Besouro Since making his UFC debut in March, Lim has back to back victories by knockout and most recently defeated Pascal Krauss at UFC 164.

Saffiedine (14-3) will be making his UFC debut after being the last Strikeforce welterweight champion in this bout. He is currently on a four fight winning streak, with all of the wins coming by unanimous or split decision.
