A flyweight bout between two UFC newcomers has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale next week as Josh Sampo will meet Ryan Benoit.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Wednesday and the bout will be apart of the preliminary card.
The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale will take place on November 30th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined a trilogy bout as Gray Maynard meets Nate Diaz.
Sampo (10-2) is currently on a four fight winning streak and is coming off a victory against Sam Thao at CFA 12 in October. He has won five fights by submission, including two of those submissions coming during his four fight winning streak.
Benoit (7-2) has been competing in Legacy Fighting Championships and Maximum Fighting Championships over his last four fights. He has gone 3-1 in those fights including a first round TKO victory over Cody Fuller at last month’s Legacy Fighting Championships 24.
