A welterweight bout has been officially added to UFC on FOX 10 in late January as Pascal Krauss will face UFC newcomer Adam Khaliev.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday evening and the bout will be place on the preliminary card.
UFC on FOX 10 takes place on January 25th from the United Center in Chicago and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meets former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson.
Krauss (11-2) has gone 2-2 since entering the UFC in 2010 and has won the fight of the night bonus in two of those fights. His most recent appearance in the octagon came at the end of August, when he was defeated in the first round by knockout against Hyun Gyu Lim.
Khaliev (6-0) turned professional in 2011 and four of his wins have come by knockout or submission in the first round. He has not competed since August of last year, which was a decision win over Magomed Magomedkerimov at League S-70.
