UFC 167 drug tests come back clean

All of the fighters that were on last weekends UFC 167 card were drug tested by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and all of the drug test came back negative for prohibited substances.UFC 167 Rec

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer released the information to the media on Friday afternoon.

Kizer confirmed to TheMMAReport.com on Friday that the only fighter that was given a therapeutic use exemption for testosterone replacement therapy was co-main fighter Chael Sonnen. He was defeated in the first round against Rashad Evans and Sonnen stated after the fight that he would be moving back down to the middleweight division.

UFC 167 took place last Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was headlined by Georges St-Pierre retaining the UFC welterweight title with a split decision victory over Johny Hendricks.
