The UFC 167 preliminary card on Fox Sports 1 and featured wins by Donald Cerrone, Thales Leites, Rick Story, and Erik Perez.
According to Nielsen sources, the UFC 167 preliminary overnight rating for the preliminary card landed at its highest on FS1 ever with 998,000 total viewers.
The previous preliminary card of UFC 166, which was also on FS1, scored 628k total viewers, meaning from 166 to 167 the UFC has a 60% increase in overall viewership.
This event now brings the average PPV prelim on FS1 to 789,000 viewers, up from 719,000 viewers. When the UFC was on FX the average was 1.2 million viewers.
When it came to the competition on Saturday night, the biggest issue for the UFC was two very weak College Football games including UFC vs Stanford (3.71 million viewers w/ 1.0/3 rating) and Texas Tech vs Baylor (3.19 w/ 1.0/3 rating) both of which roughly a 75% drop in audience compared to last weeks three-pack of games.
