The UFC Fight Night 31 Fight Night bonuses went to Tim Kennedy, Michael Chiesa, Rustam Khabilov, and Jorge Masvidal.
UFC President Dana White announced the bonuses at the post fight press conference and each fighter will receive a bonus of $50,000.
Kennedy won the knockout of the night bonus for his first round knockout against Rafael Natal in the main event of the fight card. He landed a leaping left hook in the final minute of the opening round and referee Herb Dean came in to stop the fight.
The submission of the night went to Chiesa, who defeated Colton Smith by rear-naked choke in the second round. It was the sixth career win by rear-naked choke and his eighth overall win by submission.
This is the second time that Chiesa has won the submission of the night bonus in his fourth fight UFC career. His first submission of the night bonus came in his official UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 15 finale when he defeated Al Iaquinta in the first round.
The fight of the night went to Khabilov and Masvidal. The two lightweight fighters battled for three rounds, but the key moment of the fight came in the third round when Khabilov landed a spinning back kick. He was able to use that kick to propel himself to a victory and is now 3-0 in the UFC.
