A middleweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night 35 on January 15th as Ultimate Fighter alum Brad Tavares meets Lorenz Larkin.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Friday evening and the bout will likely be apart of the main card on Fox Sports 1.
UFC Fight Night 35 will take place from the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia on January 15th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Luke Rockhold meets Costa Philippou.
Tavares (11-1) has won four in a row and six of his seven fights in the UFC since entering the promotion during The Ultimate Fighter 11. During his winning streak, all of the wins have come by decision and he is coming off a victory against Bubba McDaniel at UFC Fight Night 27.
Larkin (14-1, 1NC) made his UFC debut earlier this year after coming over from Strikeforce. After losing his debut at UFC on FOX 7, he scored his first UFC victory at UFC Fight Night 31 as he defeated Chris Camozzi by unanimous decision.
