UFC officials announced the new date for the card and the co-main event bout on Tuesday. TheMMAReport.com reached out to the UFC on why the date for the event was pushed back, but they have not made an official comment.

He entered the UFC in May and has won back to back fights in the UFC by first round stoppage. His most recent victory came at UFC Fight Night 28 when he defeated former middleweight title challenger Yushin Okami by TKO.

Carmont (22-7) is currently on an eleven fight winning streak, and six of those wins have come in the UFFC. His last three wins have come by decision, including his most recent win at UFC 165 as he defeated Costa Philippou by unanimous decision.
