A bantamweight bout has been added to UFC 170 on February 22nd as Bryan Caraway will look for his second straight win against Lucas Martins.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on late Monday evening and the bout will be placed on the preliminary card.
UFC 170 will come from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Sara McMann.
Caraway (18-6) has won three of his four fights on the UFC and has won a fight night bonus in his last two UFC wins. He won the submission of the night in his last fight as he submitted Johnny Bedford at UFC 159 and his last five wins have come by submission.
Martins (14-1) entered the UFC as a lightweight at the beginning of the year and after going 1-1 in his first two fights, he dropped down to the bantamweight division in September. His bantamweight debut came at UFC Fight Night 28 and he defeated Junior Hernandez by technical submission.
