A flyweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 35 card on January 15th as former title challenger John Moraga will meet Dustin Ortiz.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday morning.
UFC Fight Night 35 will take place from the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia on January 15th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Luke Rockhold meets Costa Philippou.
Moraga (13-2) was scheduled to be on next weeks UFC on FOX 9 card in California, but he pulled out of the fight due to an injury. This will mark his first fight since losing to flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, which snapped a seven fight winning streak.
Ortiz (12-2) made his UFC debut last month and defeated Jose Maria at UFC Fight Night 32 in Brazil. He is currently on a four fight winning streak and nine of his twelve wins have come by knockout or submission.
