A lightweight bout has been added to next months UFC on FOX 10 as Ultimate Fighter 15 alums Mike Rio and Daron Cruickshank will meet on the preliminary card. 
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Sunday.
UFC on FOX 10 takes place on January 25th from the United Center in Chicago and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meets former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson.
Rio (9-3) has dropped back to back fights after winning his official UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale against John Cofer. Both of his defeats in the UFC have come by submission in the first round and his most recent defeat came at UFC 166 against Tony Ferguson.
Cruickshank (13-4) opened his UFC career with back to back victories, but has dropped two of his last three fights. He is coming off a submission defeat to Adriano Martins at UFC Fight Night 32 and it was his second career defeat by submission.
