A middleweight bout has been added to UFC 169 in New Jersey on February 1st as Nick Catone will meet Tom Watson.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday and the bout will be place on the preliminary card.
UFC 169 takes place on February 1st from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will be headline by Dominick Cruz meeting Renan Barao in a bantamweight title unification bout.
Catone (9-4) made his debut in the UFC in 2009 and has gone 3-4 in his seven UFC fights. He is returning to the middleweight division in this bout after losing his UFC welterweight debut against TJ Waldburger by submission at the end of 2012.
Watson (16-6) has dropped two of his three fights in the UFC with his only victory inside the octagon coming at UFC on FUEL TV 7 in February as he defeated Stanislav Nedkov by TKO in the second round. His most recent bout came at UFC 163 in Brazil this past summer as he lost a decision to Thales Leites.
