Ronda Rousey will make her next title defense at UFC 170 against Sara McMann

UFC 170 on February 22nd in Las Vegas has a new main event as Ronda Rousey will defend the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Sara McMann.

UFC President Dana White announced the fight during the UFC 168 Post Fight Press Conference.

UFC 170 will take place from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and the original main event between Rashad Evans and Daniel Cormier has been moved into the co-main event slot.

Rousey (8-0) retained the UFC title on Saturday night at UFC 168 as she defeated Miesha Tate by armbar submission in the third round. It was the first time she had made it out of the first round and all of her wins have come by armbar submission.

McMann (7-0) is a former Olympian wrestler and won her UFC debut earlier this year as she defeated Sheila Gaff. She won the fight in the first round by TKO and it was her first career win to come by TKO/KO.
