A bantamweight bout has been officially added to UFC on FOX 10 in Chicago as Sergio Pettis meets Ultimate Fighter alum Alex Caceres.
The fight announcement was made by the UFC on Thursday evening after the bout was reported by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
UFC on FOX 10 takes place on January 25th from the United Center in Chicago and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meets former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson.
Pettis (10-0) was signed by the UFC earlier this year and made his debut at UFC 167 last month. In his debut, he defeated Will Campuzano by unanimous decision and it was his fourth career victory to come by decision.
Caceres (9-5, 1NC) has won four of his six fights since dropping down to the bantamweight division in 2011. He is unbeaten in his last four fights (3-0, 1NC) and is coming off a split decision victory against Roland Delorme at UFC 165.
