The World Series of Fighting has added two more women to its roster as Ashlee Evans-Smith and Emi Fujino have signed with the promotion.
The signings were initially reported by MMA Junkie on Sunday and the World Series of Fighting confirmed the signings on late Monday morning.
Evans-Smith (2-0) is coming off a victory over Fallon Fox at Championship Fighting Alliance 12 and she won the fight in the third round by TKO. Both of her professional fights came in 2013 and both were in Championship Fighting Alliance.
Fujino (13-7) has been competing professionally since 2004 and six of her thirteen wins have come by submission. She has won four of her last six fights and her last two wins have come by submission in the second round.
In the announcement of the signings of Evans-Smith and Fujino, the World Series of Fighting did not state when they will make their debuts with the promotions. However, it would seem likely that Fujino will be placed on the upcoming World Series of Fighting card in Japan, which is expected to take place in early 2014.
