The signing was announced by Davis on Twitter today and TheMMAReport.com has confirmed the signing with sources.

Davis (20-6) competed as a featherweight in the WEC and went 3-2 in the organization. While he was in the WEC, he had a notable victory over now current Bellator MMA featherweight Diego Nunes at WEC 44 in 2009.

He dropped down to the bantamweight division in 2012 and won his first four fights in the 135 pound division. His first three victories as a bantamweight came by TKO, including a second round win over Bill Kamery at Titan Fighting Championships 22. His last fight took place at the end of 2013 and he was defeated by Ryan Roberts at Victory Fighting Championships 41 by split decision.

“Excited to announce I will be taking my talents to Bellator MMA,” Davis wrote on Facebook. “Want to thank them for the opportunity to showcase my skills on the big stage!”

Davis is expected to make his debut in Bellator MMA in the upcoming tenth season of the organization, which will debut in either late February or early March.
