A welterweight bout has been added to UFC on FOX 10 on January 25th in Chicago as a pair of fighters will be making their UFC debut as George Sullivan meets Mike Rhodes.
The fight booking was original reported by MMAWeekly.com and was confirmed by the UFC today.
UFC on FOX 10 takes place on January 25th from the United Center in Chicago and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meets former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson.
Sullivan (14-3, 1NC) has won six fights in a row and his last three wins have come by TKO in the second round. During his six fight winning streak, all of the fights took place in Cage Fury Fighting Championships and ten of his fourteen wins have come by knockout.
Rhodes (6-1) is the latest RFA fighter to sign with the UFC and he has won back to back fights after being defeated by current UFC fighter Brandon Thatch. Three of his six wins have come by knockout and is coming off a decision win at RFA 10 against Alan Jouban.
