Luis Palomino now meets Jorge Patino at WSOF 8

With Richard Patishnock being moved to the main event of World Series of Fighting 8, Luis Palomino will now meet Jorge Patino on the preliminary card of the January 18th event in Florida.WSOF 8

The new fight booking was recently announced by WSOF officials and the preliminary card will be streamed live on WSOF.com.

WSOF 8 takes place on January 18th from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and will be headlined by Justin Gaethje meeting Richard Patishnock for the inaugural lightweight title.

Patino (35-14-2, 1NC) has gone 8-1-1 in his last ten fights and his most recent victory came in December against Wagner Campos. Over the last two years, he holds notable victories over Pete Spratt, Mike Bronzoulis, and Efrain Escudero.

Palomino (21-9) is a former Bellator fighter and is making his World Series of Fighting debut in this fight. Since losing to Pat Curran at Bellator 46, he has won five of seven fights, and his last two victories have come by knockout.
