Raquel Pennington replaces Julianna Pena against Jessica Andrade at UFC 171

Ultimate Fighter 18 winner Julianna Pena has pulled out of her UFC 171 bout against Jessica Andrade with a knee injury and replacing her against Andrade will be Raquel Pennington. UFC 171 Poster

UFC officials announced the change on Wednesday evening and the new bout will be placed on the preliminary card.

UFC 171 takes place on March 15th from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas and will be headlined by Johny Hendricks facing Robbie Lawler for the vacant UFC welterweight title.

Pennington (4-3) was a member of Team Tate during The Ultimate Fighter 18 and won her official UFC debut at the live finale against Roxanne Modafferi by unanimous decision. The victory snapped a two fight losing streak and it was her first win since 2012.

Andrade (10-3) was signed by the UFC last year and lost her debut to Liz Carmouche. She returned at UFC Fight Night 30 and dominated Rosi Sexton to win by unanimous decision.
