UFC on FOX 10 took place on Saturday night in Chicago and Alex Caceres, Sergio Pettis, and Donald Cerrone were awarded the fight night bonuses.
The bonuses were announced by UFC Senior Director of Public Relations Dave Sholler at the post fight press conference and each bonus was worth $50,000.
Caceres and Pettis were awarded the fight of the night bonus for their preliminary card battle which Caceres won in the third round by submission. Along with winning the fight of the night bonus, Caceres was awarded the submission of the night.
This is the second time that Caceres has won a submission of the night bonus as he previously won the bonus for his triangle choke win against Damacio Page at UFC on FUEL TV 4 in 2012.
The knockout of the night went to Cerrone, who defeated Adriano Martins with a head kick knockout in the first round of their lightweight bout. This is the 13th fight night bonus for him in the UFC/WEC and he passes Joe Lauzon and Anderson Silva for the most fight night bonuses.
The fighters will receive their bonus checks once they pass their post fight drug test, which should be back in the next two weeks.
